Our Story
Seven years ago these deck pads were born in Cape Town, South Africa – one of the best windsurfing and kiteboarding destinations in the world. They have been tested at some of the gnarliest breaks and biggest air in Southern Africa, from Jeffrey’s Bay on SA’s East Cape coast, through EBay, Red Bull King of the Air and Dungeons in Cape Town.
We have combined a high density, cross-linked foam blend with a powerful adhesive system that is optimal for traction pad use in these applications, easy on the knees (and feet), superbly grippy, long-life and also compatible with the materials that boards are made from. Yes …well, I’m an engineer in my (other) company. We hope you derive as much fun using these deck pads as we did developing them.
